Landen & Lauren 16 Months Old

Once again, I'm keeping on top of doing this blog. Yeah right!

Landen & Lauren had thier 16 month pictures taken last week, and here's a few to share. Where did the last 16 months go to?

Landen is now running and climbing on everything. He does not sit still for a minute. He shuts the tv off when he wants it off, screams to be heard, and makes his sister laugh by hiding around the corner from her.

Lauren finally took her first two steps. She's doing exactly what I thought she'd do, walk a few steps and laugh, walk and laugh. Too Cute!

Both are mommys babies, and I love it! I love to snuggle up with them and enjoy the hugs and kisses I get daily.

Landen is Walking!

Tonight Landen decided he'd go for a little walk, all by himself. Mommy is so proud of her baby boy, I could have cried. He has taken a few steps here and there for the last couple weeks. But, tonight, as I was giving Lauren a bath, he decided he'd stand up, walked out of the bathroom, down the hall and into the living room to see Daddy.

I love my babies!

Oops, forgot I was blogging

Well, I seem to be a bit slow with the blogging. I just read Hohni's and she's way too good at this. She even keeps up each day.

Landen & Lauren are now 14 months old. They are into everything and always on the go. Landen is walking behind his toys, or should I say running? He never sits still. Lauren still wants nothing to do with walking, but she gets around scooting on her butt, so she doesn't really care. They have had thier shares of ear infections, and both go see the ENT on the 26th of January. I'm thinking tubes are heading thier direction. Hopefully they can get some relief then. Lauren has passed her brother with teeth. She has 4 on the top, and 4 on the bottom, with a molar starting to come in. Landen has 4 on the top, and two on the bottom. I don't dare put my fingers in thier mouths because I'm afraid I'll find more than I can see.

Here are a few recent pictures of the kids up to no good.

Its obvious to me that I'm a little slow making them something to eat, so they are now using the self-serve technique of dumping thier puffs on the floor and eating them as often as they want to. What a mess!

Landen can now reach everything on the table and decided he'd try my can of pop out while I was in the basement putting laundry in the dryer. This is what I came up the stairs to find:

This is a video of Lauren doing her famous "scoot" around the house.

Picture with Santa

We had the kids picture taken with Santa over the past weekend. Landen thought it was great fun, and Lauren was a little mad at me for even putting her on his lap.

This picture was the best one because she was just starting to cry, but the last couple pictures she was beyond mad.

Christmas should be interesting this year. I'm sure they won't leave the tree alone if we put one up. So I've decided my best bet is to just lay the tree on the floor and string the lights from one side of the room to the other, because I'm sure thats the way it would end up looking.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!

I hope you have a wonderful day with your family and friends.

Today, we are going to my parents house for dinner in Elmore.
Landen & Lauren have become quite the little eaters, so I'm sure they will enjoy the turkey, mashed potatoes, corn and everything else.
Maybe the Turkey will help them sleep tonight. haha.
Wishful thinking, I know.
I am Thankful for so many things, but most of all my loving husband and precious children.

Perfect November Weather

What another beautiful November day. Its hard to believe on Halloween, just 5 days ago, it was only 50 degrees, and now we're back up in the 70's for the past three days. I wish all winter could be this way. The end of the week we're only suppose to be in the 30's though. Minnesota weather is wonderful.

Happy Halloween

This was the first year that we could take Landen & Lauren out trick-or-treating. Landen was our little scooby doo, and Lauren was a cute little lamb. We didn't stay out long because it was only 48 degrees, but we did make it to a few houses and back to Grandma Dawn's to warm back up. Hopefully next year is better and we can stay out a little longer. We hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween!
